        At a farewell reception at Blair House for the retiring chief of protocol, Don Ensenat, who was President Bush's Yale roommate, the president shook hands with Washington Life Magazine's Soroush Shehabi. "I'm the grandson of one of the late Shah's ministers," said Soroush, "and I simply want to say one U.S. bomb on Iran and the regime we all despise will remain in power for another 20 or 30 years and 70 million Iranians will become radicalized."

        "I know," President Bush answered.

        "But does Vice President Cheney know?" asked Soroush.

        President Bush chuckled and walked away.

Bush is obviously addicted to near-absolute power, mass killings, war, death and destruction, and intends to carry on doing it. This also indicates the possibility that he has no intention of leaving the White House and the Presidency, or that plans are in place to continue stealing elections in order to continue having this Republican Dictatorship in the USA. The PNAC is in power and intends to remain in power, and the military/industrial complex is licking its chops as it amasses billions and soon will amass trillions of dollars. See the PNAC's blueprint for the USA's global domination, Rebuilding America's Defenses (PDF), which Bush has been following to the letter so far. After all, Bush did say to Bob Woodward that "Look, our strategy is to create chaos, to create a vacuum." and "We will export death and violence to the four corners of the earth in defence of our great nation." The USA has become the world's bane, the world's Nemesis.

Josh Wolf now holds record for longest incarcerated journalist in U.S. history

The Washington Post has noted that Josh Wolf now holds this record. However, what the article conveniently omits to mention is the fact that Josh not only repeatedly stated under oath that his unpublished material does not contain footage of any of the alleged crimes committed, he also offered to let the Judge review his tape - but the Honorable Judge William Alsop adamantly refused.

It is an insult to the intelligence of the people when journalists and the papers they work for - Marcus Wohlsen and the Washington Post in this instance - omit to mention salient and pivotal points in the articles they publish; it is a devious form of mendacity which dishonours the journalist and his employer, depriving both of their constitutional rights as expressely stated in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. At the same time, their readers are misled and deprived of the truth.

It is blatantly obvious that in the case of Josh Wolf, the Administration is on a witch hunt. Demanding all of Josh Wolf's footage of the demonstration violates the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution which unequivocally states:

      Amendment IV

      The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
