Republican Congressman Ron Paul Speaks Out AGAINST War With IRAN - April 2006
"Ron Paul addresses the House of Representitives against the bi-partisan tide of war-mongerers. He gives an excellent historical case on why and how this deception of an "Iran Threat" is being laid on the public.
"He addresses U.S. involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, the recent elections in Pakistan, the nuclear capabilities of India, Pakistan, North Korea and Israel.
"He also goes in depth at the economic consequences to the Average American, and how Congress has forfeighted [sic] its "powers to declare war" to the administrative branch."
It must be noted that Rep. Ron Paul was allotted the very last speaking time of the day when the Senate is practically empty, and when most people are in bed and missed watching it on C-Span TV - most likely purposely so because Rep. Ron Paul, even though he is a Republican, has a tendency to speak truth to power.
